Today we harvested kale, daikon radishes, and leeks. I checked and baited the electric fence as well. We also moved hen coops, cleaned some onions, and packed the van for CSA pickup.

I washed leeks then harvested carrots and lettuce. It was a very overcast and windy day, but the rain held off. I also submitted more homework for the Farm Business Planning course I'm taking.

We harvested tatsoi, broccoli rabe, italia sweet peppers, and leeks. Then we cleaned onions and weeded. This could have been one of the best days so far on the farm. I get to go back again tomorrow but that doesn't change how great the weather was today.

We harvested greens, beets, and salad turnips, then cleaned and packed them. On the last week of the summer CSA, we are looking forward to cooler days for the next month of the fall share season.

Today was a very windy and rainy day, one of two on the forecast from a tropical storm moving through, and a federal holiday as well. Still we harvested because there are commitments to fulfill to our members on the last week of the summer CSA.

We harvested (some) kale before getting rained out, cleaned leeks and scallions, weeded the nursery greenhouse, bunched salad turnips and prepared for markets.

We harvested kale, tatsoi and basil. I also harvested the first of the leeks this year, a favorite of mine and thus the hard work was a special treat for me. Abstracting is a past-time of mine, even the leaky/leeky ones.

It was 90 degrees as we weeded and hoed, but this was much more bearable than yesterday. Napa cabbage harvested, basil pinched, and leeks completely weeded.
